Company History: The owner, Cynthia Wilshusen worked in the financial industry for eight exciting years, while completing her associates degree. While working with individuals and business owners, she discovered a great deal of need for individuals that needed one on one personal training and financial organization. She started her business in the summer of 1997 providing one on one training sessions on a variety of topics. After completing her Bachelors Degree in Accounting, she expanded her services to include bookkeeping, and business development. More recently, she became a certified bookkeeper and a QuickBooks Pro Advisor. She continually seeks to discover where needs exist and adjusts her serves accordingly.
She was offered a teaching position at Cuesta College in the Fall of 1999; where she taught classes from introduction to computers, all Microsoft products, desktop publishing, computerized accounting and principles of accounting. She will begin teaching with Santa Barbara City College in the Fall of 2008, teaching online classes in similar subjects.
Cynthia earned her Master's Degree in the Summer of 2005. She was also promoted to the Director of the Cuesta College Small Business Development Center where she provided consulting on topics such as management, business development, marketing and accounting. At this point in her life, she has decided to devote to growing her own small business, and continually helping individuals and other small business owners grow as well.
